when i first saw pokemon as a kid, i was like OMG SUPER AWESOME, but now it seams they have gone with it way to far, and i dont even know how many seasons they have

I enjoy playing the games, and stuff, but eh... it gets pretty boring pretty quick. They need to put more thought into the games and series. Maybe actually have Ash do something other than start journey, find people besides brock to go with, battle Team Rocket lord only knows how many times, find the rarest pokemon in the series(mind you it's in the movie, and if you've ever noticed, the asshole doesn't mention it ever happening) and battle the elite four. If I missed anything let me know.

I was obsessed with Pokémon in 2nd grade, but that was back when the Animé and card game actually was awesome and didn't suck like it does nowdays.

Everybody in my school was obsessed with the card game.

You'd see people walking around with like piles of 350 cards and they'd run up to people and go 'WANNA TRADE? I HAVE THIS REALLY COOL CHARIZARD IN MINT CONDITION! CAN I HAVE YOUR MEW CARD FOR IT?' and the person would go 'NO. BUT I DON'T HAVE CHARIZARD, SO HOW ABOUT I SWAP YOU PIKACHU FOR IT?!'

I had a huge pile of them, but I never took them into school, I just sat them in my room and let them collect dust.

But now, when I look back I think, 'Why the fuck did I collect all of them anyway?'. Most of them are in the big Pokemon convention in the sky. (A.K.A. I chucked them in the bin.) I only kept the cute looking pokemanz. :B

Around 10 is my guess. I don't really watch the show unless there is nothing on or there is new episodes and the advert makes it look good (when actually it isn't, team rocket just blasts off again)

That was the biggest thing when I was 8, and I loved watching it on Saturday mornings, I have loads of pokemon games, I think my favourite would have to be Squirtle.

never collected pokemon cards, i collected yugioh cards and i do have a box full XD

I believe one of the reasons the show lost so many viewers is because of how stupid Ash is. Why in the world did he leave Bulbasaur, Snorlax, Heracross, Cyndaquil, Bayleef, Totodile, Charizard, Primeape, and Squirtle behind? Those were some of Ash's greatest Pokemon, in my opinion. I have a feeling, though, that if Pikachu, Chimchar, and Buizel evolve, the show will get some of its lost viewers back because it will actually be somewhat intresting.

I agree that Chimchar has battled some strong Pokemon like Paul's Gliscor and still no evolution.

It was fun circa 98-00, it just went downhill during the Johto years. You had 150 pokemon to start out with, then 250 and now it's too many to count. But it was fun in the early days waking up Saturday morning or tuning in after school. Gave us all something to do.

I used to have sooo many pokemon cards it wasnt funny, there kicking around somewhere, i shall go out on an adventure to downstairs and fetch my cards if i can find them, i had a big card of mewtwo and it was awesome!!!
