No Ads upgrades are available for your account for the reasonable price of $10 $5. The GatorAIDS vBulletin processes these payments through PayPal, but if for some reason you cannot use PayPal and have to use something like a check or money order please contact me and I can manually add the subscription to your account once the payment clears.

This upgrade will remove any and all ads from the forum* indefinitely. You will also get a fancy pink "I Love Ad-Free Gators" title for your trouble.

*Please note that some announcements that come directly from GatorAIDS and not our third-party advertisers will be exempt from this upgrade.

Here's some FAQ's. Because we like FAQs:
Why can't I just turn on AdBlock?:
Because AdBlock is fine and dandy if you're ripping a giant company off of a few cents, but GatorAIDS is managed by a completely broke (and newly jobless) person, and those cents matter greatly. The ads aren't intrusive, we designed them specifically to ONLY be banners, so we ask that you disable AdBlock out of courtesy (add gatoraids.com and forums.gatoraids.com to your Safe list). This way, if you do not wish to donate $5 to turn off ads you can still support us by just browsing and hanging out.


Does this block the ads on the WordPress?:
No. This is only for the forums. The ads on the WordPress are a mixture of hard-coded and content-based. They are governed by a different variable of the website.


Will this upgrade block every single ad on the forums?:
This upgrade will disable all ads from GatorAIDS' forums. However it will not block announcements that come from GatorAIDS directly.


I've donated over $5 already, can I just have a No Ads upgrade for free?:
Absolutely. If you have a cumulative donation total of over $5 just ask and we will manually grant your account a No Ads upgrade!


I hate ads but I'm an achievement whore, will this count toward donations?:
Yes, purchasing a No Ads upgrade will net you +$5 to your cumulative total, and if you don't have them already you will be granted the first two donation medals (for $0.01 and $5.00).


I didn't get my medal when I bought a No Ads upgrade, what gives?:
We have to add awards manually. We will get to it within 24 hours but if we do not, please request the award and we will get it immediately. Also, to make it easier when you purchase the upgrade through PayPal please include your forum username in the message that gets sent to us.


I changed my title how do I get my special pink one back?:
Simply delete your custom title. If you submit a blank title on the Edit Profile screen you will default back to your "I Love Ad Free Gators" title.

If you delete your custom title and submit a blank field it will default back to the "I Love Ad Free Gators" one. :)

The pink is kind of hard to see though, I think it would look better if you made it just a bit darker.

Edit: Also, i had 2 ideas.
One: You could pay like 5 dollars, and get rid of ads but only for a year or 6 months.
Two: Maybe as a promo for your book, when you buy it you can also get a year to 6 months with no ads.

Is it possible to give away a no-ads upgrade? Like if I held a contest for a free no-ads upgrade and paid for them or something. That was my idea, although that might be a little complicated at the moment, I wasn't planning on doing this for like a month or so anyway.
