Do you have Xbox Live? So much better quality gaming. Kinect is a great addition for casual gaming. Get Halo 3, CoD 4, L4D 1 and 2, GTA4, and then we can game together.

Ya, I bought it for a month, since its 1$ for the first month. Need to get L4D, and Halo 3 (or maybe wait for 4?). Don't know if i will buy CoD 4 again but I might if i see it cheap. All i have right now is Gears of War 2. I will probably buy yearly live after my month runs out but we'll see.

I mean, the 360 is reasonable. I do prefer the PS3, as I'm using live and it really isn't any better than PSN, not 60$ better anyway. I have ethernet for PS3, and for the xbox, and they both run as fast as eachother. Graphics wise, the PS3's are slightly better, but not 100$ better or whatever the difference in price is.

My personal opinion is that the PS3 is a better investment. I mean, it might be a little more, but after 2 years you will have paid just as much after the xbox live charges. And the PS3 just has better hardware, not much you can fight about that. Heck, games haven't even reached their full potential for the PS3's hardware yet.

But I can see why many like the xbox 360. Both systems are worth the cash, it really depends on what you want. Interfaces aside, the actual gaming is a bit smoother, and graphics are a bit better on the PS3. But you won't really notice a difference, unless you try to look for the difference.

I've only used the system for a few hours, but so far it hasn't convinced me that it is better. So far I'm gonna go with the ps3 being better, but the xbox 360 definitely isn't bad.

I mean, if most of your friends use xbox, go for the xbox. You'll have a pleasant experience either way. It should come down to the exclusives, and what your friend have when deciding. If you want to go into specs, and internet services, that's all fine and dandy, but if you have nobody to play with, and if you're playing games you don't even like, then those don't really matter as much. I wouldn't suggest getting both however, my dad bought one just because he had a bunch of best buy credit, and ended up getting the system for a mere 50$, not a bad deal for a system of this caliber.
