I'm working on a Regular Show skin for my DS, and I cannot get it to work. It is driving me insane, seriously. My flash cart only accepts 8-bit BMP files for the top screen's desktop. The bottom screen is fine and takes 24-bit BMP, I have that working, but I cannot get the damn 8-bit version to go.
I've tried forcing 8-bits in Photoshop as well as saving it as a GIF (which is always 8-bit) and converting to BMP. Nothing is working.
Perhaps most frustrating of all is that I've gotten the top screen to work once before but I can't seem to do it again even though the properties of the new desktop match the old one.

See? THEY'RE THE SAME.

eeeeeedit: My flash cart is an M3i Zero (not the newest edition that supports 3DS nonsense). Also no this isn't warez talk because for all you know I could be using my DS to watch episodes of Regular Show and not download games onto it.
