Yeah that ad kinda spooks me out. Did that download start immediately following the click? If so I will delist that advertisement because I don't like downloads.

Just a follow up:
A few days ago a virus (Windows Security 2012 variant) executed itself.
Traced back to xVid download from the link and some plapicklegame.exe downloaded like 10 min after the xVid. Then later my computer seemed to start pinging a bunch of different IP's, so I spose it was a botnet zombie.

Kero told me over NovoCiv he got a trojan from the forums. Maybe it's time to reconsider what ad service we use?

I got an annoying talking interstitial ad, that wouldn't pause. And "Alienware (http://giftguide.gamerevolution.com/)" is supposed to be reputable...

I've had enough of AdBrite. I am pulling their ads from GatorAIDS now and we will be running new ads soon.

So just tell you if we get the talking intersitials, or the ones that are blocked by my internet filter because of being illegal/questionable content?

And if there are ads that show the blocked message?

Will we lose the Trueswords ads?

Every ad on the site is now replaced with "GENERIC ADVERTISEMENT". You shouldn't be getting any ads for anything, actually, except that and the Nintendon't banner.

Can't stand ads on message boards, especially when they creep into the threads like that.

I don't know if TrueSwords runs ads through other networks. But I will be very cautious with new advertisers and I won't run ads from places that look suspicious. I want to find a new ad dealer who had a uniform and decent approach.

Ads? I havent seen an ad on GatorAids since... the first day you added them P;

If it was directly because of AdBrite's ads, that's something you will have to take up with them. Or maybe I do, I have no idea. But they're going to absolve themselves of blame by saying "YOU CAN'T PROVE IT WAS US NUR HUR". :(
