Sonic Fan's?

Is anyone here a fan of the sonic games? I am, Sonic Unleashed was good and so its Sonic Heroes. Sonic Riders was ok, and so is black knight. So, are you a big sonic fan? What's your favourite game? :v:

the only game i didnt really like was unleashed, i play the game for fast action, not mashing the same combo over and over, although i did like the normal sonic mode

Sonic went downhill for me after sonic adventure 2, the story is just so complicated and theres so many different versions.

I loved Sonic 2. I never actually played the new-er ones so I cant really comment on them. I must have played Sonic 2 for Sega a thousand times. I was never able to beat it though.

What the fuck, how old are you? Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic Adventure were the two greatest Sonic games ever made in 2D and 3D.

This is something I cannot stand in lots of "gamers" nowadays. They think that Sonic Heroes is where the franchise fucking began. Please tell me you're not one of these people.

As for your questions. I am probably THE Sonic fan of these forums. My favorite game is Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast, because not only is the gameplay and soundtrack UNBELIEVABLY FANTASTIC, I experienced the game in my adolescence, which means it had a major impact on the person I've turned out to be. I could very well be unrecognizable if I had never played that game.

I personally love the first ever Sonic The Hedgehog game, I used to play it on my brother's Genesis -when it worked-, along with Sonic and Knuckles and a few others. I have a game for Gamecube that has all of the original Sonic games. Woooh. n.n

Aside from those, my favorite is probably Sonic Adventure 2 Battle [for the Gamecube. I never had a Dreamcast. welp.] I actually recently replayed it but I have yet to actually beat it. I just need to beat the final boss and then get all of the other emblems I don't have. Not to mention, I have pretty adorable Chao. D:<

I am a fan of Sonic 1 through S3+K. After that I kind of tolerated Shadow the Hedgehog and liked the day stages of Unleashed. I am actually looking forward to Generations though.

Was an amazing game, but I played the port of XBLA and man that game has *not* aged well. Time hasn't been nice to Sonic. :( Just with the Genesis titles I guess.

I used to have the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis for you backwardass Americans) and the first Sonic game on it.

Holy shit I sucked at it, I kept getting raped by Eggman. Loved the hell out of it though.

I love almost everything Sonic from when around Heroes came out and before. Excluding the Sonic Underground series of course which is too 90's-ish for my liking. :p I bought Sonic The Hedgehog for the 360 but I haven't been interested enough in it to get that far.

I love that collection on the 360 because they included Dynamite Headdy. I am really glad they did, that was one of the greatest games on the console and it has been consistently overlooked every time a compilation is made.

I have to like how Sonic Generations kind of mirrors the quality of Sonic games. First three levels are awesome, SA levels are pretty good, Sonic Heroes level is "meh", Sonic 2K6 is terrible, they chose the best Unleashed level which is pretty fun, and then I know nothing of the original Colors game but the level based on it is fairly subpar. Overall it is a really good game for the nostalgia.

Is Sonic CD that awesome? I've never played it and have heard mixed opinions on it and I'm really not sure if it's worth spending money on.
