WHY I NEVER

I was going to use Ubuntu, but I couldn't get it to work Live-USB and I have no cd's or the will to get cd's, so there's that.

Plus the Lucid Puppy logo sold it for me (http://cdn.unixmen.com/images/stories/linuxlogos/PuppyLogo.jpg)

All I got from this is that you screwed a puppy.

:(

I still might try to get Ubuntu, but is it really worth it?

I suggest getting the free CD, much better than doing the complicated USB thing. I got mine after 2-3 weeks and I paid for post. (Had to use Ubuntu while waiting for my first Mac back in '07.)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you just download the ISO to your flash drive and then boot from that at start up?

I don't know, but as far as I know, you need to use wubi for that. I'd prefer getting a CD since you could use it again if you need it.. but using Ubuntu as an primary OS? Meh.

Cool, I'll request one of their CD's. Can't really hurt anything. I'm still learning linux though, think I should be able to Use Ubuntu ok? I know enough to not kill the computer hahaha.

why not try UE (http://ultimateedition.info/)? I use it as the primary os on my moms computer, but a new version is coming out soon.
