Omg this is such an old anime.

I didn't watch it at all, but before Toonami ended on Cartoon Network, I caught a glimpse at a few episodes.

All I remember was that Goku had to untangle these chains and then some guy took his orb, but he ended up with more than one, and then Cell started fighting everyone on the planet.


So what do you guys think of it?

Started watching it at the start of season 2 and watched it basically till the very end and Dragonball GT.
Was my favorite ever. :P

My favourite show when I was 8 and 9, I remeber it taking half a fucking year for Goku to use the spirit bomb on freeze for the first time.

This is a brilliant example of the plot development of DBZ. You forgot to mention that they're going to train for about nine episodes before attempting the light bulb operation, though.

I wish Matthew Damon were more active here, he'd have an earful to say about DBZ.

I really love it, still watch it although episodes whit Freiza are too big,
Any way, I watched every single episode.

i loved this show back when i was a kid but now i know how retarded it really is. jesus christ they just scream and power up and train and flash back about stuff. they had an episode where goku screamed for five minutes straight, no fuckin' lie. the voice actor said he passed out in the voice booth thing while doing that bit :D

Never liked the show, first time I attempted to watch it, I saw a character named Pickle-O. Totally turned me off, then I switched over to Nickelodeon.
