Anyone here listen to the oldies? Music from way back when. I do! You can't deny the great sounds of so many people. The Beatles, Cat Stevens, Bee Gees, and on and on.

Who do you like to listen to that is considered an "old timer"?

The Beatles are gods. They are absolute gods.
I listen to quite a lot of older music from mostly either the 60s (The Beatles) or the 80s (Huey Lewis and the News, my current favourite band)
I find a lot of it better than today's music, because back in the 60s it hadn't been done before, but if you have a modern band with the same sound it seems tired, I guess.

I love the oldies. I listen to practically anything from the 60's to 80's ... Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, The Moody Blues ... you know name and I probably like it.

I have a decent knowledge of what you might call "oldies".
I enjoy the music of the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Iron Butterfly, Bob Dylan,Deep Purple,The Doors, Stealy Dan, The Eagles, Uriah Heep, and many many others. I'm more of a classic rock/metal guy than people like Elvis though. stuff from the 70's and 80's like Sabbath, Ozzy solo, Dio, Pink Floyd,RUSH, Blue Oyster Cult, Jimi Hendrix and many many others.

I'm into modern music, but I think the 60's and 80's are pretty good too.

The oldest music I listen to is Genesis, The Knife is their best song. That song is from 1971.

Yeah, I really like a lot of Beatles songs. The Beegees are OK too. I like a lot of old songs. :blush:

The Beatles are definately my favourite oldies band (depending on what you consider to be old)
I also listen to Jimi Hendrix.
