Since this discussion is apparently open to "all things Pokemon," I'd like to note that according to some rumors there will be a Pokemon platformer game like the ones you see on Game Boy to DS which will (if the rumors are true) release sometime in the near future, in Japan. I picked up this when I went to pick up Platinum, which is basically an exact copy of Diamond/Pearl with the exception of a few added Pokemon (not new of course) and the other dimension. I would not recommend this game as it is basically a repeat of its predecessors.

You do realize all pokemon games aside from Pokemon trozei(sp?), the Pokemon Ranger games, Pokemon games not on DS gameboy etc. and the pokemon explorers of time, mystery dungeon etc. are basically repeats of EVERY pokemon game before it? Here, I'll give you a rundown of all pokemon games. You start the game, you get your pokemon, you battle the gym leaders, you find the legendary and catch it, you fight the elite four and then you can basically do whatever you want.
