That ad was posted in Viz in the 90s, back then you had to let Viz design your ad.

If your familiar with Viz (I know what your thinking, and no) I shouldn't have to explain anymore.

There are ads much worse than that from Viz, I can post them if you want.

I'm so glad this isn't real.

It is real, Sega just didn't design it.

Sega sent the information they wanted to be given in the ad and Viz designed it for them for use in their publication.

These ads wouldn't have shown up in any other publication, except for those which wish to talk about how ridiculous they are.
