I used to own all of the Twisted Metal games, even Small Brawl. The original ones were my favorites, because the cutscenes in TM:Black for PS2 scared the shit out of me.

My favorite characters are Sweet Tooth and Axel. Sweet Tooth is insane, and Axel is pretty badass, especially when he rips his arms out to release himself from the torture device.

Anybody else remember these games? After Crash, it's my favorite original PSX series.

I have all of the original PS1 titles with the exception of Small Brawl. Personally even though there's a lot of hatred surrounding 989 Studios I really liked Twisted Metal III, Auger was my favorite vehicle out of the bunch followed closely by their rendition of Thumper. TM IV was good, I liked the customizeable cars even if they only had 3 varieties - but they gave Sweet Tooth way overpowered special weapons. Those goddamn laughing clown faces tear shit up.

But you can play as Rob Zombie, and that is awesome.

I remember playing one for the PS1 though, and it was pretty awesome.

it was one of the twisted metals where you could blow up the Eiffel tower right? that is what i remember playing when i was like, 5. i wish i could get that game again.
