This movie is freaky shit. Ashton Kutcher goes back to his childhood to change his adult life, and the movie follows him through scenarios that progressively get more and more depressing.

If you're easily upset, stay away from this movie. If you're normal, Netflix it now.

This movie made me realize how much I hate Ashton Kutcher.


Sublime is a much better film within the genre.

Donnie Darko can kick any movie's ass.

It's funny how Butterfly Effect feels like a Donnie Darko rip-off, and Butterfly Effect had a shitty straight-to-DVD sequel. A shitty straight-to-DVD Donnie Darko sequel was just released called S. Darko.
