Hypothetical situation ( best or worst friend )

I tried to make some threads to stick people here, so,
Imagine that you have a friend whit who you played all your life. You went to movies, you bought clothes, you played games, you laughed and such
Basically, he/she was like your brother, One day you got information that he made serious crime ( he killed human ). What would you do ?
Report him or move on ? or something else

Ah this question reminds me of the sequel to The Outsiders, That Was Then This Is Now.

I would report them obviously if they killed somebody in cold blood. If it were in self defense, manslaughter, or anything unintentional, I wouldn't turn them in, but the second I learn they were fully aware of what they were doing, I don't know them anymore.

In all seriousness though, I'd try and convince them to turn themselves in, if that doesn't work. I wouldn't go to the police unless they were desperate. If they come to me, I would tell them.

I agree with Pointy.It's their choice if they want to send themselves to the police,I wouldn't tell them on just because he was in self-defense.

I'd try to cover up what he did and get him out of trouble.

If he killed someone he must've had a good reason to do so. :D

If it was self defence and he had absolutley no other way out, I would do my best to help him cope, but if it was a cold-blood murder I would report him and then cry over the fact I've spent my life hanging with that jerk.

Well, it would definitely freak me the fuck out. I guess I would turn him in, but I would hate doing it and the whole thing would be so weird and I'd probably get paranoid and suspect everyone of being a murderer because hey, if your best friend is a murderer, then why not your cousin? Or your science teacher? Or the guy who owns your local store? Or even your parents?

I would probably report them if it was something REALLY major and bad, but if it was someone minor I wouldn't report them.

I wouldn't report them, but I wouldnt defend them either, it really depends on the situation, they might be able to justify the crime.
