I have mac and windows XP. I use Windows XP when I'm at home, I use mac when I'm at school or other places, but I use it sometimes at home when I'm bored.

EDIT: My dad uses a XP laptop for work.

You guys have alot of computers. I have two and I'm only allowed to use one of them. I think XP and Vista are the same, just different designs. I don't understand why people are complaining about Vista.

I have a 24-inch Intel Imac running Leopard.

My memory shipments keep getting messed up (this has been going on for months), so it only has 2GB of memory.

Can anyone tell me what the Mac looks like? I really want one.

Casual users won't notice much of a improvement if your going to be running demanding tasks (like me) you'll notice it performs much better. Since casual users typically only run simple tasks there is little room for improvement.

The GUI for OSX is much better than that of windows, but it does take some getting used to. Changing from one OS to another is never easy.

i had windows xp but then i broke it so i put another operating system on the same computer and i got a linux. but then i broke that too and now i have a mac mini (yeah the cheap one). :cool:

I previously had a Windows XP at my mom's house, but she and I were careless about viruses, and it began to continuously crash. I currently have a Windows Vista that I don't like much because my browser often stops responding for no reason.

At my dad's house, I use a Windows ME that I hate because of how old it is.

That's really unlucky. On my old computer (it was a white and really fat one, before laptop's were out, I think) I had like thousands of viruses. When I got my new computer the viruses carried over due to downloading the same programs, but then I decided to get rid of all the viruses and then all the programs disappeared.

Counting only the ones that are used...

1 desktop computer running Vista.
2 desktop computers running XP.
3 laptops running Vista.

And ones that AREN'T used...

4 desktop computers running XP.
1 laptop running Windows 94.

Yeah...I think that's all there is.

What are you some kind of computer tech or something? Can loan me a PC, this one totally sucks the big one.

Anyway I have a Dell desktop with Xp that totally blows (as I have already stated)
and a Mac OSX laptop with Xp installed with a busted LCD screen. I have to get a new PC when I get my check next week.

I run XP Professional, and if I ever get a computer with Vista I'll downgrade to XP because:

I feel very comfortable using XP after using it for 75% of my lifetime. And because I hatehatehate Vista's Start menu.

I have 3 Dell computers sitting in my room. Only one of them is hooked up though.

I have a Dell Studio running Vista, an Inspiron 530 running Vista, and a Dimension running ME. I guess you could say I got the worst of Microsoft.
