My MacBook is always whirring and making dangerous noises, not to mention producing so much warmth that I'm afraid it'll go straight past overheating and actually melt.

Oh, and I had to do this film project for school, and Final Cut Studio crashed like every five minutes.

So I'm thinking of getting a Mac Pro and just using this MacBook for porn and AIM.

In case you read this...

Mac Book Pros are very nice. I took the leap from Windows Vista to a Mac, so of course I think it's great, but still, even if I hadn't been on such a god awful operating system beforehand, the Mac Book Pro is great.

Also, I hope I don't sound like an unappreciative bitch here, I really liked having a computer but its constant fucking up really got on my last nerve.

I am not sure if he meant a mac pro(huge ass tower) or a macbook pro.

Both rock.

I agree, they are both great, I've tried the Mac Pro at Best Buy and it was very nice. I'd just like to point out that if Macs are too costly for anyone browsing, Ubuntu is another option that you can fall back on. Ubuntu is free for download, and you can install it on basically any computer. Plus, you can customize it to look like a Macintosh with Gnome (a dock application). Not to mention that they 100% do not get viruses, and are really easy to manage.

tl;dr Mac and Ubuntu are the ways to go.

Mac Pro is wayy to powerful for you, an iMac might do. (or a MBP)
