There are people behind these, they have to specifically take the time to register.

Regardless I will tweak the settings of our registration page.

Regardless I will tweak the settings of our registration page.

What will that do? Xrumer gives them a list of which forums were successful and which weren't, and so they can just register on whatever forums weren't successful either due to an error or that forum has something like the Human Verification Question or reCaptcha. Since it's a human that does that, I don't see how tweaking it will do anything.

I went in and added some "spam account" email addresses to the filter. That's all I did.
