I am on chapter 20 of the last Harry Potter book and it has been, by far, the worst one. To be fair, I guess it just isnt what I was thinking it was going to be but I feel the characters have become very annoying. Someone who has read them tell me it gets better!

Edit: Yes, I know that I made an error in the title.

It seems to be the worst because it's totally totally different from all of the other books.

You have to read it multiple times to get the in-jokes and callbacks to minor events in the rest of the series. It really all comes full circle by the end, even if J.K. Rowling had to cut out many of the subplots she wanted to put it in order to make the book, you know, NOT 1,500 pages.

My advice: DO NOT READ THE EPILOGUE. It will rape all your happy memories of Harry Potter.

Thanks! I am on the Title chapter and it is getting much better. Getting kind of exciting again!

I was just getting tired of the hours of reading "boohoo we are alone" and "I'M ANGRY!!!!"
